OVERVIEW: Coolio's Splash House is a poolside essentials brand that I absolutely fell in love with creating! It was my little summer passion project, and I couldn't be prouder. The concept began with a desire to design the perfect summer companion—a brand for premium pool towels, water bottles, bags, and all the little things that make pool days magical.
The logo was so fun to work on! (Also, a challenge at times. I had too many ideas.) I gave "Coolio's" this flowing, friendly script that feels like your best friend just signed your yearbook, then paired it with bold "SPLASH HOUSE" lettering that means business. That little "est. 2025" circle? I'm obsessed with how it makes our brand-new company feel like it's been everyone's summer go-to forever.
But honestly, the real star is Coolio—this adorable pool float mascot who completely stole my heart! I designed her with the sweetest cartoon eyes, little arms and legs, and gave her different poses. She waves, she walks, she's got expressions for days. There's something about her hand-drawn charm that makes me smile.
The whole vibe revolves around the signature green and yellow palette (think fresh lime meets golden sunshine) and two catchphrases I'm way too happy with: "Stay cool, stay Coolio" and "Where every day's a pool day."
I had a blast applying everything across products, tote bags, t-shirts, and social posts. The goal was creating something that feels premium enough for quality gear but playful enough for actual pool parties—and honestly? I think I nailed it!
